Kindly follow these steps to install WordPress on a Primary domain or a main domain:
● Log in to Intek Hosting Panel
● Choose the domain you want to manage (if you have many domains listed).
● On the next page, kindly scroll down to the One-Click Installs tab. Select the WordPress icon.
● On the “Install WordPress” choose the domain or sub-domain from the Domain Dropdown on which you want to run the installation.
● In the “Directory” dropdown, enter a directory name if you only want to install the WordPress to another location other than your main domain. Other than that, you may want to leave the Directory blank and click on Install WordPress.
● After a few seconds, you will be presented with a successful installation page, which comes with two (2) URLs: one for the main domain and the other one for the staging area we provide (where you can play around with the WordPress installed). For the purpose of this tutorials, we’ll go with an installation on the main domain.
● Next, click on the main domain URL to open a new window to continue with the famous 5-minutes WordPress installation. Choose your preferred language, and here, we’ll go with English.
● On the final installation page, enter the necessary details in the fields provided which are Site Title, Username, Password, Your Email and the optional Search Engine Visibility (which would discourage search engines from indexing your website because it may be under development)
● Click on “Install WordPress” to get the application installed. After a few seconds, you’ll be presented with a success page with a login button where you can click to login to the Admin Dashboard of your WordPress Website.
